Casual Loc Styling (Add-On Service Only) Casual Loc styles are available only as an add-on to a scheduled Loc Retwist appointment. Please preselect your desired style from the curated list below. - Sister Locs Retightening
Sister Locks Retightening Appointment This service includes a detox wash (towel-dried only) followed by the retightening of your Sister Locks. All Loc appointments include a wash as part of the service. Styling is available for an additional fee. If you’d like to include styling, please indicate this in the comments section when booking so that appropriate time and cost adjustments can be made. Please note: Appointment duration may vary based on: The length of time since your last retie The amount of new growth Any necessary repairs The thickness and density of your hair Be prepared to spend a minimum of 4 hours—though it may take less time depending on your specific needs. *If appointment exceeds beyond allotted hours for selected service, you will be charged additionally based on service and /or time. The stylist uses Made for Locs brand products. If you prefer a different brand, you are welcome to bring your own products. This does not affect the service cost. - Small Starter Locs
Starter Locs – Full Service This full-service appointment begins with a detox cleanse of the hair and a scalp treatment to ensure a clean, healthy foundation. Starter Locs will be installed using one of the following methods, based on your hair length and texture: Comb Coil Set (using firm hold Loc Gel by Taliah Waajiid): Ideal for shorter hair, offering a defined, uniform look. Two-Strand Twist: Recommended for longer hair to help reduce frizz and maintain longer-lasting hold between appointments. The stylist uses Made for Locs brand products specifically formulated for Loc care. If you prefer a different product line, you are welcome to bring your own. Please note that this does not affect the cost of your service—product use is complimentary; charges are based on the service itself.
- Natural Braid/Twist - Average Length
Full Service (Wash, Dry, Braid, Set) — Includes natural braids (no extensions), box braids, cornrows, two-strand twists, and mini comb coils. Please select your preferred style below; pricing will adjust accordingly based on your choice. The stylist uses Made for Locs and Loose-Natural hair care products by Taliah Waajid. - Consult for Personal Care & Maintenance
This is a one-to-one consultation, priced at an hourly rate starting at $50 for the first hour and $35 per additional hour, with a maximum of 3 hours. Services include: Q&A Step-by-step tutorial walkthrough for the DIY loc client Guidance for self-help at-home maintenance To prepare for your consultation, I will email you a Google Form questionnaire. Please take your time to complete the form thoroughly before your virtual Zoom call, answering all required questions and including any personal questions you may have. This preparation ensures you get the most value from your consultation time and that we cover everything important—so please provide detailed answers. This consultation is designed to help you understand your personal hair journey and equip you with the knowledge needed to ask the right questions when selecting a loctician or stylist in your area. Examples of what a personal one-to-one consultation may include: A verbal Q&A session A step-by-step show-and-tell walkthrough for maintaining your locs at home A prep course providing essential information for finding and working with a stylist or loctician Instructions for DIY self-maintenance and proper care of your natural hair/locs at home Tips for self-maintenance between visits with your loctician Demos and techniques such as styling (e.g., how to do a neat retwist or two-strand twist) upon request A short moisture routine to guide your daily hair maintenance and help retain moisture regularly Education on how to properly use and apply hair care products, as well as proper hair washing techniques Don’t hesitate to ask questions—there is no such thing as a dumb question, only the ones you don’t ask. Note: If you require more than one hour, please indicate this in the notes section when booking your appointment. Your time slot will be adjusted accordingly to accommodate your request. Micro Locs Installation — Full Service This appointment is a complete start-to-finish service, including a thorough wash and conditioning of your hair. Please note: Based on the texture, thickness, and length of your hair, the session may require additional time. Appointments that extend beyond 8 hours will incur an additional fee of $40 per hour. Micro Locs are started using the two-strand twist method, with interlocking maintenance every 6 to 8 weeks. A uniform grid pattern is not required, allowing flexibility based on your hair's natural flow and density. The stylist uses Made for Locs brand products. If you prefer a different product line, you are welcome to bring your own. (Please note: This does not affect the cost of your appointment. - Medium sized Starter Locs

- Formal Loc Styles
Formal Loc Styling (Add-On Service Only) Formal Loc styling is available exclusively as an add-on to a scheduled Loc Retwist appointment. These are the most intricate, time-consuming, and premium styles offered. Please be prepared to allow an additional 45 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the style you select. Be sure to choose your desired formal style in advance so that proper time and pricing adjustments can be made.
- Braid Takedown Service
Take-Down Service This service is your opportunity to unwind while we handle the complete removal of your braids, twists, crochet styles, or box braids—quickly and efficiently. After removal, your hair will be thoroughly detangled, washed, conditioned, and blow-dried, followed by simple styling (please choose from the curated style list below, the cost and allotted time will adjust according to what you select). This allows your scalp and hair to rest before your next protective style. To help prevent traction alopecia—a condition caused by tension and stress on the hair follicles—it is strongly recommended to take down braids at least one week before reinstalling a new protective style.
