All new clients are required to book a consultation prior to scheduling an in-person appointment to begin our journey together. Once you book your consultation, you will receive two emails: The first email will confirm the date and time of your consultation appointment and include the Zoom link needed to connect. (Please note: payment for the consultation is required in advance, and your appointment will not be secured until payment is received.) After your payment is processed and your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a second email from your provider, Pammie. This email contains a detailed questionnaire that must be completed thoroughly and submitted no later than the evening before your consultation. The consultation will be conducted virtually via Zoom and typically lasts 45 minutes to one hour. Your full attention is required, and cameras must be turned on during the call. Please come prepared with any questions you may have—remember, the only bad question is the one you don’t ask. Please note that consultation payments are non-refundable. Coloring Services Include: Dye application, including wash and deep conditioning treatment. Color rinses, complete wash, color application, rinse, and deep conditioning treatment. Coloring can be added as a service or booked separately. As a separate service, the fee includes minimal styling for natural hair but does not include retwisting or styling for Locs. An allergy patch test is required prior to any color service. Please do NOT wash your hair prior to your color appointment. If requested, the stylist will purchase the color on your behalf; the cost will be added to your final fee. Please note: Service time may be adjusted depending on hair length and coverage requirements. IMPORTANT COLOR POLICY – Please Read Carefully: NO BLEACHING OR STRIPPING of hair will be performed under any circumstances. NO permanent black box dyes will be used, as they do not lift and can interfere with future color goals. NO henna or metallic dye lifting services will be offered. It is absolutely essential that you disclose any and all prior coloring history to your stylist before booking your color service. This includes use of black box dyes, henna, or any past chemical or permanent coloring. Failure to disclose this information may significantly alter your final results and can compromise the integrity of your hair. Color-treated hair often requires additional moisture and care. A follow-up moisture treatment regimen may be recommended to maintain hair health post-color.

Full-Service Medium Loc Retwist This appointment includes a detox wash and conditioning, towel-dried only, followed by the retightening of Locs using either the interlocking or twisting method. The service also includes moisturizing and oiling of the scalp and Locs to promote healthy hair and scalp. Styling services are available for an additional fee. Please specify any styling requests in the comments section when booking so that price and time adjustments can be made accordingly. The stylist uses Made for Locs brand products. If you prefer to use a different brand, please bring your own products to the appointment. This will not affect the cost of your service, as charges are based on the service provided; product use is complimentary.

Starter Locs – Full Service This appointment includes a detox wash, scalp moisture treatment, and the installation of starter Locs using the method discussed during your consultation. Please note: Starter Locs created with comb coils—particularly in large or jumbo sizes—require more frequent maintenance during the early stages. For optimal results, clients should expect maintenance every 3 to 4 weeks for washing and retwisting during the first year, until the Locs are fully matured. The stylist uses Made for Locs brand products, formulated specifically for Loc care. If you prefer to use a different brand, you are welcome to bring your own. This will not affect the cost of your service. Charges are based on the service provided; product use is complimentary.

Casual Loc Styling (Add-On Service Only) Casual Loc styles are available only as an add-on to a scheduled Loc Retwist appointment. Please preselect your desired style from the curated list below. Pricing will be adjusted based on the style you choose. Be prepared to be here up to an additional up to 1 hour for styling depending on the style you select.

Sister Locks Retightening Appointment This service includes a detox wash (towel-dried only) followed by the retightening of your Sister Locks. All Loc appointments include a wash as part of the service. Styling is available for an additional fee. If you’d like to include styling, please indicate this in the comments section when booking so that appropriate time and cost adjustments can be made. Please note: Appointment duration may vary based on: The length of time since your last retie The amount of new growth Any necessary repairs The thickness and density of your hair Be prepared to spend a minimum of 4 hours—though it may take less time depending on your specific needs. *If appointment exceeds beyond allotted hours for selected service, you will be charged additionally based on service and /or time. Starter Locs – Full Service This full-service appointment begins with a detox cleanse of the hair and a scalp treatment to ensure a clean, healthy foundation. Starter Locs will be installed using one of the following methods, based on your hair length and texture: Comb Coil Set (using firm hold Loc Gel by Taliah Waajiid): Ideal for shorter hair, offering a defined, uniform look. Two-Strand Twist: Recommended for longer hair to help reduce frizz and maintain longer-lasting hold between appointments. The stylist uses Made for Locs brand products specifically formulated for Loc care. If you prefer a different product line, you are welcome to bring your own. Please note that this does not affect the cost of your service—product use is complimentary; charges are based on the service itself.

Full Service (Wash, Dry, Braid, Set) — Includes natural braids (no extensions), box braids, cornrows, two-strand twists, and mini comb coils. This is a one-to-one consultation, priced at an hourly rate starting at $50 for the first hour and $35 per additional hour, with a maximum of 3 hours. Services include: Q&A Step-by-step tutorial walkthrough for the DIY loc client Guidance for self-help at-home maintenance To prepare for your consultation, I will email you a Google Form questionnaire. Please take your time to complete the form thoroughly before your virtual Zoom call, answering all required questions and including any personal questions you may have. This preparation ensures you get the most value from your consultation time and that we cover everything important—so please provide detailed answers. This consultation is designed to help you understand your personal hair journey and equip you with the knowledge needed to ask the right questions when selecting a loctician or stylist in your area. Examples of what a personal one-to-one consultation may include: A verbal Q&A session A step-by-step show-and-tell walkthrough for maintaining your locs at home A prep course providing essential information for finding and working with a stylist or loctician Instructions for DIY self-maintenance and proper care of your natural hair/locs at home Tips for self-maintenance between visits with your loctician Demos and techniques such as styling (e.g., how to do a neat retwist or two-strand twist) upon request A short moisture routine to guide your daily hair maintenance and help retain moisture regularly Education on how to properly use and apply hair care products, as well as proper hair washing techniques Don’t hesitate to ask questions—there is no such thing as a dumb question, only the ones you don’t ask.
